Job Introduction

Today, any controller working in a mission-critical control centre relies on four sophisticated technologies to do their jobs: voice communications, situational awareness tools, decision assist tools, and a resilient voice and data network underneath it all. Those four basic tools: that’s what we do. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in 150 countries with more than 40,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. 
Key Tasks
  • Validating and qualifying sales opportunities in close cooperation with the Sales Manager
  • Assisting customers in preparing tenders
  • Assisting in developing and managing the sales pipeline for the current fiscal year and forecast pipeline for upcoming years
  • Guiding sales opportunities through the sales process by involving the relevant stakeholders in each sales process phase when required
  • Filling out compliance matrices and creating proposals, by: 
    • taking note of special customer requirements, 
    • employing Frequentis' pricing and Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Generating sales reports to document ongoing progress
  • Following the project implementation and assisting if necessary
  • Conducting customer demonstrations on Frequentis VCS products, when required
  • Understanding how the customer's organization is structured
  • Understanding the sales cycles and processes for hi tech sales to government entities
  • Implementing the set gross margin/profit margin in the pricing tool
  • Configuring the pricing tool per customer requirements 
  • Building and managing trust-based, long-term relationships with customer organizations (key business owners, decision makers in technology, operations, marketing, IT)
  • Managing selected sales projects from the order received to the hand-over to the project management (Manage internal processes, e.g. win plan, pricing file, /CRM/Funnel)
  • Stee ing After-Sales Management toward the maintenance organization
  • Assisting with proposal documents, portals completion and authentication
  • Assisting in trade shows as required
  • Assisting with marketing materials

Key Qualifications
  • Engineering and/or Business school post-secondary degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in (tele)communications-/ or IT- industry in customer-facing roles
  • Technical know-how paired with an understanding of economics
  • High Tech sales support experience
  • Customer intimacy experience through building credibility / trust with previous accounts
  • Very high level of interpersonal, organisational and verbal/written communication skills
  • Business understanding and consulting competence for customer solutions and customer operations coupled with ability of strategic thinking
  • Distinctive customer service orientation, with strong relationship management skills within an intercultural environment
  • Experience in reviewing contract language, Terms & Conditions
  • Technical/analytical skills, high problem-solving competence
  • Distinct cost/ budget awareness
  • Fluency in French is a plus but not mandatory
