Job Introduction

As a Solution Consultant, you work closely with customers and internal teams to design customized software solutions for emergency and crisis scenarios in the defence environment.

In this role, you act as a bridge between customers and internal departments, gather requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable user stories.

Key Tasks

Sales support through presentations, demos, and configurations
Implementation of the product strategy and further development of the customer vision in close cooperation with customers on an international level
Conducting workshops and gathering requirements / requirements analysis together with the customer (travel activity approx. 10–20% within Europe)
Creation of customer documentation (e.g. functional specifications or user manuals)
Contribution to the creation and maintenance of the product backlog and writing user stories as an interface between customers and our development team
Ongoing coordination and reporting in close collaboration with project management
Configuration of the software application
Delivery of customer trainings as part of project execution

Key Qualifications

Strong knowledge of software development, IT architectures, and cloud-based solutions
Several years of experience as a Solution Consultant, Product Owner, or in a comparable role within the software domain
Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into implementable solutions
Solid process understanding, strong rhetorical skills, and a high level of innovative thinking
Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
Industry experience in aviation, maritime, or defence is an advantage
