Job Introduction

The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 140+ colleagues and is growing. As part of our team, you will actively develop products in an international environment, where experienced people will help you further develop your skills and advance in your career.

Key Tasks

Between July 12 – August 20, you will join us full-time as a Software Developer or Test Automation Engineer intern. After the completion of this paid internship, you may get a proposal for a part-time collaboration. This is based on the results obtained during the program and the available positions.

You should expect to take an online technical test at the beginning of April, and by the end of April, you should have our offer and make a decision.

We are looking for passionate students willing to solve aeronautical and public safety technical challenges.

You will learn:

Java
Design patterns
Business domains

Key Qualifications

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Programme
Your specialization is in Computer Science, Automation and Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent
You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken
You are eager to work in safety-critical domains
