Experienced Java Backend Developer for distributed systems (f/m/d)

Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 30.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.
Key Tasks
• You are a full member of an international SCRUM team and responsible for the interface to our system engineers, project teams and software development colleagues 
• As a Java developer for distributed systems you have to face asynchronous system behaviour, messaging patterns, etc. 
• As a backend expert you develop and extend existing and new platform components 
• You will be responsible for the error analysis of the runtime behaviour of the system, recognise and process the cause up to solution (root cause from performance bottlenecks)
Key Qualifications
• At least 3-5 years of experience in software development with programming knowledge in Java or .NET, C# and their use in distributed systems 
• A test driven development-mindset is an important condition and a professional experience with SIP, RTP, WebRTC is beneficial
• A high degree of independence and proactivity, very good English and German language skills are advantageous 
• You are interested in emergency control centres and high quality awareness in the environment of safety-critical systems

Your individual salary is based on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive total package. Depending on work experience and additional qualifications, an overpayment is possible.
