Job Introduction
At Frequentis Comsoft we are expanding our surveillance team and are searching for a Sales Manager (f/m/d) with a well-established network in the Aviation industry and experience with Air Traffic Management (ATM) Accounts.
As Sales Manager for our Quadrant product, you identify, develop and win new business opportunities in our global Airport and ANSP markets. With your commercial skills and domain expertise in ADS-B & Multilateration Systems, you drive our business growth and ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability. In this function, you coordinate with Regional Sales Units of the Frequentis Group globally, and report directly to the Head of our Strategic Product Unit Quadrant. This position requires international travel (up to 60%) and is based at our HQ in Karlsruhe – optionally with up to 3 days/week home office from a location in Germany.

Key Tasks
  • Proactively driving sales activities, together with Regional Sales Units, to deliver the order intake target
  • Designing and implementing strategic sales plans for our key markets and target accounts 
  • Capturing and closing deals as Pursuit Responsible, with support by bid managers, Product Manager and engineering.
  • Understanding customers’ commercial, operational, and technological challenges and opportunities with support from our Solutions Consultant
  • Building and maintaining a network of relationships with customers, local partners and other key stakeholders in the aviation community
  • Maintaining an up-to-date status reporting in our CRM and reporting to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with company processes and policies
Key Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in complex technical product sales and regulated public procurement rules in aviation, defense or public infrastructure 
  • Profound knowledge of the global ATM market 
  • Proven experience in leading winning teams of bid consortia and international/local partners 
  • Self-starter with ability to deliver without direct line management Degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Management or Marketing & Sales
  • Demonstrated track record as negotiator and deal closer
  • Outstanding customer relationship skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical product know-how at all stages and client situations
