Job Introduction

Key Tasks
  • Participation in the development & maintenance of software that continuously and reliably calculates the current air situation picture for air traffic controllers - based on a large number of noisy measurements 
  • Further development of proven safety-critical systems in the field of air traffic control 
  • Taking responsibility in all phases of the software life cycle - requirements engineering, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance 
  • Collaboration with our customers worldwide on a technical level 
  • Supporting the automation of the test infrastructure 
  • Contribute to delivery projects and technical customer training as required 
Key Qualifications
  • Completed studies in computer science or a related field with a focus on mathematics, especially stochastics and numeric.
  • Knowledge of methods for estimating system states, e.g. Kalman filter
  • Good knowledge of at least one high-level language (Ada, C++)
  • Experience with Python as well as version management tools (e.g. git) is an advantage
