We are looking for a Senior Contracts and Bid Manager to contribute to the success of its programs in the air traffic control and rail transport sectors.


Key Tasks
This strategic position will support the growth of Frequentis France on major national contracts and is requiring a long-term commitment to the project and maintenance phases.
  • Ensure the operational and commercial interface with French aviation and rail authorities, by overseeing the execution, dissemination, and shared understanding of contracts and amendments.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage contractual risks, propose mitigation measures in close coordination with project managers and internal legal advisors, and initiate necessary escalations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and negotiate commercial offers based on existing contracts, ensuring a solid sales pitch and clear valuation of customer benefits.
  • Ensure the reliability and ongoing updating of the CRM (prospects, opportunities, customer history) as well as internal reporting and KPI tracking tools.
  • Ensure the governance and compliance of Frequentis France's internal processes and quality certifications (ISO, internal audits, maintenance of standards).
  • Centralize and rigorously document all contractual modifications, additional requests, and operational monitoring (reports, minutes, monitoring indicators).
Key Qualifications
  • More than 5 years of project management experience in a technological or regulatory environment (air traffic control, rail, critical infrastructure).
  • Proficiency in comprehensive contract and commercial management: development, negotiation, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ability to negotiate and develop long-term client relationships, working closely with operational and legal staff to review sensitive clauses (penalties, liabilities).
  • Master's degree or engineering degree, combining technical skills (IT, telecoms) and management training (economics, management).
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a client/project/procurement/contract interface role, requiring versatility and communication: drafting, interpreting, and monitoring contracts, managing amendments and claims.
  • Ability to develop offers based on existing contracts, estimate variants, and defend proposals to the client. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to present strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Salary
Position based either in Toulouse or in Paris, with regular travel between these two cities as well as to Vienna. Salary depends on your working experience and educational background.
