Your environment

The French subsidiary works closely with and as an integral part of the head office in Vienna (Austria). It manages a range of large-scale, complex projects as well as long-term maintenance contracts.

We are looking for a supportive colleague as system engineer for our very well-established team at our subsidiary in Toulouse France. You will be integrated in a project team and be the technical responsible for the first ATM Remote Tower project in France. As a system engineer, you will be the customer’s (DSNA) main point of contact to clarify technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions together with the product teams.

Key Tasks

You will be the technical manager of one or more ATM (Air Traffic Management) digital tower solution projects, in close cooperation with the project manager
You will be the customer's main point of contact to clarify technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions
You will act as the interface between the customer and the rest of the team (development, other System engineers, System architect)
You will also act as the interface with the product team in Vienna to adapt the solution to the customer's needs
You will draft technical documents, including specifications and consolidation of the needs, and you will act as the interface between the customer and the rest of the technical team
You will carry out integration, validation, and customer acceptance tests
You will support system commissioning on site with the customer
You may be required to provide technical training and organise/lead workshops with the customer
You may help draft technical offers in this area
You will be required to travel regularly to Customer sites in France and to the Group's head office in Vienna, Austria

Key Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or with equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of experience is desired
Specialization in computer system management, such as Linux (in particular, Redhat) and networks
Experience in testing or deployment on customer sites of critical systems is desired
Knowledge of WAN networks, firewalls, particularly in the Cisco environment, is a major plus
Good knowledge of various types of container architecture (Docker, Puppet, Ansible, RedHat IdM) is a plus
Ability to draft technical documents in French and English
Knowledge of air traffic control / ATM is a significant asset
Good ability to communicate with and work within a multidisciplinary international team
Organisation, independence, reliability and the ability to manage priorities and to take initiatives are required
Working language: Fluent French / Advanced English; German is a plus
Willing to regularly travel around France and to Austria
