Service Engineer - VoIP Applications
- Act as first point of contact for customer technical issues during service lifecycle, ensuring compliance with system requirements and quality standards
- Handle incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support system changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and solutions
- Collaborate with delivery and product teams for issue resolution
- Strong experience with Linux (RHEL), including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM)
- Understanding of networking, VoIP (SIP), SBC & PABX systems
- Familiarity with automation (Ansible) and scripting (Bash)
- Experience in system integration and customer-facing roles
- Ability to work independently and lead technical topics
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix) and service management (ITIL is a plus)
- Experience with Windows Server installation and maintenance
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with database system (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DBMS)
- Secondary with school-leaving examination
- University education (Bachelor's degree)
- University education (Master's degree)
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivery excellence
- Professional communication skills, even in critical situations
- Willingness to undergo security clearance (NBÚ)
- Willingness to participate in an on-call duty rotation
- Strong professional communication and client‑relationship skills, including in critical situations and under time pressure
- Flexible, self‑driven, goal‑oriented, and structured in your approach to work
- Ability to follow corporate processes and standards
- Comfortable working both on-site with customers and in the office (Vienna and Bratislava), balancing technical work with communication and coordination
- Willingness to travel regularly to Vienna or to customer sites for installations, upgrades, and acceptance activities (typically planned, not ad-hoc)
