Job Introduction
Our Bratislava-based company FREQUENTIS Solutions & Services is part of the Austrian FREQUENTIS group (www.frequentis.com). We are a leading global supplier of communication and information solutions for safety-critical applications, such as for air traffic control towers, public safety control rooms (112) or air defense forces. Our mission-critical solutions cover diverse areas, such as telephony and radio communication, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), incident and resource management, video surveillance and automatic video analytics.

 
FREQUENTIS Solutions & Services is specialized in software development and project delivery. Together with our parent company we are developing FREQUENTIS’ next generation control room solutions, using state-of-the-art technologies and processes. Our delivery teams then deploy those solutions at our customers around the globe, with responsibility for commercial and technical project management, engineering and quality assurance.

Key Tasks
  • Participating in customer needs & requirements analyses in collaboration with Sales
  • Achieves clarity about what is being technically offered in an early internal process stage
  • Calculating technical designs incl. time assessment
  • Technical interface between the external customer (Principal) and Product Management, Project Execution, Sales, and Development (R&D)
  • Providing Sales with technical support during on-site meetings with the customer, supporting product management (PDM) with designing new product releases
  • Developing technical designs and possible solution approaches with cost estimates in collaboration with Pre Sales and the offer team
  • Conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses in connection with standard vs. extra features together with the development department and product management
Key Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering
  • In-depth technical knowledge in IT and telecommunication
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with sales, offering, bid management, product management, project management, product development and customer service departments
  • Team player
  • Good time-management and strong self-organization skills
  • Precision
  • Extraordinary ability to work under pressure
  • Appreciate technical challenges and finding solutions
  • Negotiating fluently in English (written and spoken)
  • Domain know-how of the Maritime industry is an advantage, but not mandatory
