Implementation Manager
- Overseeing the development of the Site Implementation Management Plan (SIMP);
- Co-chairing working groups, conferences, and technical interchange meetings relevant to system implementation
- Developing implementation processes and workflows;
- Developing and monitoring the execution of implementation schedules;
- Reviewing implementation-related deliverables (e.g., Site Survey Reports, Site Installation Plans, etc.) to ensure they meet contractual requirements;
- Assigning task responsibilities to Contractor personnel supporting implementation activities;
- Ensuring that the Contractor meets system delivery and implementation commitments;
- Leading the Implementation portion of the Contractor’s quarterly program reviews; and
- Identifying, assessing, and minimizing implementation risks.
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Bachelors’ degree.
- Experience in installing, integrating and maintaining end user telecommunications equipment
- Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical management and staff as well as customer management and staff.
- Understanding of schematic and engineering drawings
- Understanding of government installation and acceptance processes and requirements
- Knowledge of basic PC hardware and software
- Special Notations or Conditions of Employment:
- Willing to travel up to 20% of time to customer sites for on-site surveys, installations, and customer meeting
