Operations Lifecycle Support Specialist

Job Introduction
Frequentis USA designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes Frequentis technologies for FAA, NASA,and state and local governments. Frequentis USA is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland operating a local manufacturing plant serving its U.S. customers. 
Key Tasks
  • Actively investigate DMSMS of multiple products from different vendors and produce internal DMSMS Reports on a scheduled basis
  • Proactively reach out to multiple OEMs to determine Life Cycle dates and determine potential Last Time Buys
  • Produce system specific DMSMS reports for submission to Customers
  • Participate in Customer meetings as the Subject Matter Expert in DMSMS related matters
  • Perform failure analysis and predictions and make recommendations on Depot spares holdings required to meet system sustainability dates
  • Generate and present regular Failure Summary & Analysis Reports
  • Conduct GFE/CFE audits and present GFE/CFE Reports to the Customer
  • Assist in the generation of ILS related documentation and CDRLs in accordance with defined DIDs
  • Support Life Cycle Support Manager in ILS activities
  • Assist in activities relating to Technical Configuration Management including:
    • Part number creation and definition
    • Sub-Assembly BOM managements and version control
    • Related data entry into the Frequentis ERP system (SAP and RATS)
  • Assist the Document Configuration Manager with document control processes during times of high workload and to cover during staff absences

Key Qualifications
  • Degree in related field or at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the Company’s success
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Hands on experience with SAP and MS Access databases is highly beneficial
  • Must be authorized to work in United States and obtain clearances to work on government sites.
