Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 30.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.
Key Tasks
• You will be responsible for achieving the order intake goals and will manage the global Defence sales organisation 
• Your strength is direct and indirect management as well as further expansion of the sales team 
• Together with the business division manager you establish and implement an effective sales strategy in order to actively design business plans 
• In an international environment, you will be responsible for proactive acquisition and care of new customers and strategic sales partner support 
• You will be responsible for positioning the entire solution-relevant product and service portfolio of FREQUENTIS in the market as well as steering and collaborating internal interfaces such as pre-sales, offer management, project and product management 
• In addition to global sales controlling and reporting, you will be heading negotiations as well as active Partner/-Prime Management
Key Qualifications
• 10 to 15 years of international sales experience and proven success in the military environment (project business) characterises your professional experience 
• You gained solid commercial knowledge, ideally in combination with training in communications engineering, electrical engineering or information technology 
• You have a solid defence background (air force) and a strongly established network with the international defence community 
• Strategic and operational leadership as well as strategic sales skills and perseverance during longer-term sales projects, dealing with the public sector is your experience 
• You have several years of industrial experience in a similar environment and comprehensive knowledge of the market and competitors (Defence) 
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for both, civil and military communication and information applications 
• You have a very good command of English (Spanish is advantageous) and you have learned to impress your stakeholder with professional presentations 
• Combined with a high willingness to travel (50%), you own an intercultural mind set
