HR Internship - Talent and People operations
- Assist in sourcing and identifying qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
- Utilize LinkedIn, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and other platforms to proactively reach out to candidates.
- Craft and send engaging outreach messages to potential candidates.
- Support talent pipelines by maintaining and updating candidate databases.
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and team dynamics.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks, including documentation, data entry, report preparation, and process tracking.
- Assist in preparing HR presentations, reports, and dashboards for internal purposes.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, onboarding activities, internal events, and company-wide programs.
- Provide support for health & safety initiatives, including documentation, training coordination, and compliance tracking.
- Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives as needed across various HR functions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in talent acquisition, human resources, recruitment, and people operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, ATS tools, or HR systems is an advantage.
- Comfortable supporting administrative tasks, preparing presentations, and assisting with events and employee programs.
- Interest or basic knowledge in HR compliance, health & safety, or workplace policies is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support various HR initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
