Job Introduction
Frequentis AG with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 25.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

We focus on individuality, integration capability, reliability and user-friendliness - like our latest product Remote Tower: this enables full remote monitoring of a tower from a central office. More information here on the example of Deutsche Flugsicherung.
Key Tasks
  • Responsibility for the technical specification, integration, acceptance and operation of a system 
  • Configuration and commissioning of commercially available IT and network components
    in a security-critical environment 
  • Clarification of the technical feasibility, co-design of the system architecture and optimization
    of the system in terms of cost-benefit 
  • Coordination of all internal and external suppliers, e.g. documentation, testing, development
  • Carrying out acceptance tests together with the customer
Key Qualifications
  • completed technical education with focus on IT/SW
  • professional experience in system engineering preferred
  • Linux administration skills 
  • experience with networks (Layer2 + Layer3)
  • knowledge of the latest HW platforms preferred 
  • fun in finding a solution together with the customer
  • open for business travels up to max. 30 - 50 % per year (worldwide)
