Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 
30.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

You are part of a young team of experts and deliver the IT infrastructure for our project teams during the design and integration phase, which are the basis of our product applications in a safety critical area. Therefore the solutions provided need to be available, failsafe and integrated into the existing IT operation of our customers. These conditions presuppose a profound expertise in the used technology areas combined with the corresponding experience in the application and integration of existing IT environment of our customers.
Key Tasks
  • Design and further development of a future-proof IT platform across server/storage/network/virtualization topics used for redundant customer communication and information systems 
  • Consulting of colleagues, Designing and Implementing of our company wide IT platform solution
  • Being the expert in the IT Platform and answer 3rd level service requests from customer project teams, sales, etc.
  • Defining requirements regarding IT landscape for customers in Frequentis delivery projects
  • Approving purchase order requests related to IT platform to ensure standardized IT environment
  • Giving feedback to standardized processes for handling delivered customer solutions
Key Qualifications
  • A-levels or university degree with focus on IT
  • Work experience in IT system houses, IT service providers or similar highly preferable
  • Technical focus on: Windows Server (2012 and newer), Windows Client (Windows 7 and newer),  Active Directory, Software Deployment Systems 
  • Overall knowledge in networks (Cisco), Databases, Storage, Virtualization, Monitoring, etc. beneficial 
  • Readiness to travel internationally (up to 20% of working time)
  • Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
  • Communicative personality with a passion for IT topics
