Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 170+ colleagues and is growing.
This position is all about testing a complex product in a manual-functional-end-to-end manner. The test engineer, in this position, will have a major contribution to the development of safety critical software used in emergency call centers.

Key Tasks
- Create, maintain and execute manual test cases based on requirements
- Contribute to the selection of the tests to be executed according to a list of given changes in the product
- Perform exploratory testing
- Document defects in the tracking tool
- Retest defects after they are marked as resolved
- Create test report documents for formal test phases
- Retest in the local environment the defects that occurred in production. Analyse and document findings.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands on manual testing experience on integrated software systems.
- Good English knowledge, both written and verbally.
- Attention to details.
- IP based communications knowhow (SIP/RTP) is an advantage.
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Experience in testing with devices and using simulation tools is an advantage.
