Job Introduction

The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 2500 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries.

In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 230+ colleagues and is growing.

We are looking for passionate fresh graduates eager to solve technical puzzles in air traffic management and public safety domains.

You will join our team as a Junior Test Automation Engineer, or Junior DevOps Engineer, and you will have an individual labor contract for an unlimited period from day one. You will spend the first 3 months participating in technical training and developing a safety-critical application with your peers and tutors. You will work with the same team with whom you will continue your journey for the next 2 months.

You should expect to take an online technical test, and by mid-May you should receive our offer and make your decision.

If you want to enroll in a full-time job after graduation, we are looking forward to meeting you!

Key Tasks

You will learn:

• Core programming concepts (Java or Python)

• Design patterns

• Linux and networking basics

• Business domains

Key Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree programme
Background in Computer Science, Automation and Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
Curiosity about systems, Linux, networking, and automation
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to work in safety-critical domains
