Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

In our branch office in Olten you will support our key account SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) in the areas of maintenance, testing and integration. 
We are working with Security Services, Red Hat, Ansible, Open Search, Postgres and Zabbix.
Sprints and daily stand-ups characterize our agile way of working.

Key Tasks
  • You analyse and take care of he elimination of malfunctions and errors in existing systems. 
  • You will guide the implementation of roll-out projects within a nationwide system (setup, integration, acceptance and operation). 
  • Also you will carry out the implementation of new software for internal testing, acceptance and rollout together with the customer.
  • Configuration and commissioning of IT in a security-critical environment are also part of your tasks. 
  • After a detailed onboarding in the headquarter in VIENNA you will be responsible for the support in the area of maintenance and service tasks for our key account SBB. 
Key Qualifications
  • Professional experience in system engineering/DevOps
  • IT knowledge (Linux, databases, networks, scripting, open search, Kubernetes) 
  • Good knowledge of communication technology (VoIP, SIP) 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English; Knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Experience in agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 % (CH & Vienna)
  • Experience with IT security preferable
  • Open personality who values a friendly working atmosphere
