Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). The Quality Management Responsible position within Frequentis Romania gives you the opportunity to have even a broader vision of air traffic management products, giving you access to feel and promote continuously the real value of a standardized software development process that makes the world safer.
Key Tasks
  • Ensure compliance with software and safety quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ED-109A, ED-153, EU Directive: GDPR, whistleblowing)
  • Create strategies and prepare plans and manuals for quality assurance
  • Assess product specifications and customer requirements and include them in the traceability 
  • Interface and point of contact regarding processes and quality requirements for Frequentis Vienna (company headquarters), Quality Management. Point of contact for the Air Traffic Management teams regarding process/quality issues. Point of contact for audits (safety/quality/etc)
  • Maintain a constant awareness of the business context
  • Support in software assurance for product releases
  • Write technical, and quality management system reports, process descriptions, plans, procedures, etc.
  • Set up the internal auditing program.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance, COTS, Tools Assurance, etc
  • Good knowledge of software development processes
  • Software development life cycle experience: AGILE, SCRUM
  • Willingness to write documentation: process description, work instructions, report, audit checklists, etc
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Good English knowledge, both written and verbally.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of ISO/ED standards
  • Experience with VBA
  • Presentation skills
