This position is all about testing a complex project in a manual-functional-end-to-end manner. The test engineer, in this position, will have a major contribution to the development of safety critical software used in Air Traffic Management.

Key Tasks
- Create, maintain and execute manual test cases based on requirements
- Contribute to the selection of the tests to be executed according to a list of given changes in the project solution
- Conducting system and acceptance tests
- Perform exploratory testing
- Document defects in the tracking tool
- Retest defects after they are marked as resolved
- Support the creation of the test documentation artefacts for formal test phases
- Retest in the local environment the defects that occurred in production. Analyse and document findings.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience on integrated software systems.
- Good English knowledge, both written and verbally.
- German (at least verbally) knowledge would be an advantage
- Comprehensive requirements management know-how.
- Attention to details.
- Willingness to learn test automation
- Good Linux skills would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% on average
- Independent and structured way of working with a view to the whole, a safe appearance in customer contact
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Experience in testing with devices and using simulation tools is an advantage.
- ATM know-how would be an advantage
