Test Automation Engineer – Regola
- Implement, maintain, execute and document automated test cases based on epics and user stories
- Design and develop robust and maintainable automated test scenarios for new and existing features
- Configure and run automated tests in various test environments
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices
- Collect and interpret test results and create test reports
- Identify, document and track defects and quality issues in the product
- Retest defects after they are marked as resolved
- Analyze test failures, investigate logs and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes
- Contribute to the improvement and extension of the test automation framework
- Ensure stability and reliability of automated test suites (maintenance, refactoring, reducing flaky tests)
- Understand and apply OOP programming principles in the development of automated tests
- Maintain high quality standards during the testing process by applying clean code principles and following agreed coding standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, review) and contribute to test estimations
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers and other stakeholders to improve overall product quality
- Review automated tests and contribute to defining automation best practices within the team
- Proactively propose improvements to increase the efficiency, coverage and reliability of the automation processes
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing
- Strong programming skills, preferably using Java, with experience in JBehave, Groovy and Selenium
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Experience working with test automation frameworks and building maintainable automated tests
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar)
- Good understanding of software testing principles and test design techniques
- Experience with API testing and service-level validation is considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira or similar)
- Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English knowledge, both written and verbal
- Flexible, proactive and quality-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team environment
- ISTQB certification is considered an advantage
