Job Introduction

As part of our team, you will actively develop products in an international environment, where experienced people will help you further develop your skills and advance in your career.
You will be guiding the agile processes for one team who develop a safety-critical product for air traffic control.
Your expertise in handling the agile processes in a diverse and international environment will be a key contributing factor since with team members are dispersed in 2 locations: Cluj and Vienna.
Key Tasks
Your main tasks will be:
- Support Product Owner and team members with the release planning, release document preparation and review
- Support the team in making realistic commitments through story selection and task definition
- Collecting data for predefined KPIs and extend them where needed
- Monitoring teams, providing feedback about cooperation, group dynamics and results
- Coaching teams and the organisation in agile methodology
- Protecting teams from disruptions
- Ensuring that iteration artefacts are kept up to date (product backlog, sprint backlog) for reports
- Chairing agile meetings (Facilitate sprint/iteration planning)
- Assuring that information flows between product management, teams and stakeholders
- Removing impediments hindering productivity
- Striving for maximum productivity and continuous optimization in the agile team(s)
- Mediating and facilitating (support) internal communication and effective collaboration
- Coordinating agreed implementation of the agile processes
- Planning implementation of agile processes with teams and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing agile processes and ensuring they are followed (e.g. DoR & DoD); monitoring compliance
- Responsible for ensuring every meeting has an outcome (but not held accountable for outcomes)
- Responsible for optimizing the productivity of agile teams
- Responsible for reports from agile development processes
- Act as point of contact for questions about agility and methodology
Key Qualifications
- Problem solving and conflict resolution ability
- Ability to help teams make decisions together quickly, in line with the strategy
- Ability to empathize the perspectives of different stakeholders
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills (incl. moderation skills)
- Outstanding organizational skills (highly self-organized)
- Experience with task management software such as JIRA
- Familiarity with software development
- Proficient English (written and verbal)
- Preferably several years of experience as a Scrum Master, Kanban Coach or Product Manager
- Coaching training is an asset
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or a similar field
