Scrum Master – Air Traffic Management

Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). 
With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 1800 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries.

In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team has currently 130+ colleagues and is growing.  
As part of our team, you will actively develop products in an international environment, where experienced people will help you further develop your skills and advance in your career.

You will be guiding the scrum processes and resolve impediments for one team that develop greenfield products for safety critical domains, such as air traffic control. 
The product is a platform based on a microservices architecture. 
Your expertise in handling the scrum processes in a diverse and international environment will be put to good use since our stakeholders are distributed in  Frequentis locations: Cluj and Vienna. 

Key Tasks
  •  Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, retrospectives, release planning, demos, and other related meetings
  • Track the team's progress (burn down, velocity, and release forecast) and present reports for the head of development using a standard set of tools.
  • Support with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
  • Filter the incoming tickets and delegate them to the team
Key Qualifications
  • Knowledge and proven experience in managing complex products using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle 
  • Development or testing experience in an Agile development environment would be a plus
  • Scrum Master Certification would be a plus
  • Good English skills, both written and verbally
