Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). Key Tasks
- Support internal product centres with technical issues related to security configuration e.g. SELinux policies.
- Define policies for security detection and remediation.
- Decides on the implementation of the security requirements in coordination with the relevant architect(s) to achieve the security goals.
- Conducting security risk assessments for both our products and our customer projects together with SIRT and System Security.
- Develop security automation for products and project based on industry standards such as CIS, STIG, NIST.
Key Qualifications
- Display outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills and embrace a proactive attitude towards quickly acquiring proficiency in new technologies
- Basic knowledge of requirements engineering
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Experience in the installation, configuration and administration of Linux systems (mainly Red Hat)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Bash) using versioning tools
- Experience in the network and infrastructure environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or possess equivalent work experience)
