As Senior IT Engineer (f/m/d) you coordinate the technical specification, the integration up to the acceptance of the technical solution in so-called Automation Solutions for air traffic control - you do this job in coordination with a motivated System Engineering Team!

Are you ready for take-off?
Key Tasks
  • Technical coordination of the project engineering team to ensure the technical specification, setup, integration and acceptance of a system at the customer's site 
  • Technical contact person for the customer within projects (running projects e.g. in Poland, Netherlands, New Zealand or US)
  • Configuration and commissioning of commercially available IT and network components in a security-critical environment
  • Clarification of the technical feasibility, co-design of the system architecture and optimization of the system in terms of cost-benefit
  • Coordination of all internal and external suppliers, e.g. documentation, test department, software development 
  • Carrying out acceptance tests together with the customer and other key stakeholders
Key Qualifications
  • Completed technical education with focus on IT
  • at least 5 to 7 years relevant professional experience as system engineer or system administrator
  • very good Linux knowledge and practical experience
  • extensive experience with networks (Layer2 + Layer3)
  • ideally protocol knowledge (UDP, TCP, Multicast)
  • professional interaction with customers and fun in working with them
  • english skills required, every other language is a plus
  • eager to work in the air traffic management domain
