As a Service Security Architect, member of the Service Architecture, Process and Security team (APS) within the Customer Services organization, you take on the responsible task of safeguarding the service architecture and service security for our customer projects. This pivotal role combines technical expertise in security engineering and architecture with compliance, particularly focusing on ISO 27000 and 20000 standards. Service Security and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational guidelines for effective and secure operation of Frequentis customers.
- Active participation in the improvement process of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) within Customer Services operations.
- Collaborate closely with the System Security Team to develop and enforce security measures at the system level.
- Design robust security architecture for customer service operations, balancing business goals with optimal security standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
Operational and Strategic Involvement
- Create and/or approve applied security concepts for system and change requests and coordinate security concepts with internal and external interfaces.
- Understand and apply security requirements to Frequentis products and customer solutions.
- Integrate security guidelines into service management processes.
- Evaluate changes for compliance with security requirements.
- Verify that customer offers align with internal and external security requirements.
- Define requirements for the security service portfolio.
- Monitor and report on the remediation progress in projects and installed customer solutions.
Process and Team Collaboration
- Participate in the virtual Frequentis Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), managing and mitigating security incidents.
- Ensure alignment and compliance of Service Security with Group Information Security and System Security teams.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training for the Customer Service team.
Strategy and Improvement
- Continually update and refine the service security strategy to leverage new technologies and threat information.
- Maintain and improve defined group wide processes.
- Manage the lifecycle of security services, ensuring continuous alignment with industry standards.
- Analyze and enhance service management processes to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
3rd Party and Tender Management
- Evaluate the security aspects of technologies provided by third parties, ensuring compliance with Frequentis security standards.
- Respond to service security requirements in tenders, developing new service offerings, as necessary.
Educational Background
- CompTIA Security+, Pentest+, CASP certifications.
- Cloud certifications such as Azure (AZ-900, SC-900, AZ-500) and AWS (Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified Security – Specialty).
- A technical degree in IT, telecommunications engineering, or equivalent experience.
- ITIL® V3 / 4 Foundation certification is advantageous.
Professional Experience
- Extensive experience in operating critical and highly available IT and telecommunications technologies.
- Knowledge of CIS, ISO 27001, NIS Regulation, and experience with cloud solutions and infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience in security engineering tasks and familiarity with ITSM frameworks.
