Job Introduction

Key Tasks
Service Security and Compliance
- Security Governance & Compliance: Improve and maintain the ISO 27001 ISMS, ensuring security best practices are embedded in services.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security frameworks for service operations, balancing business needs with cybersecurity standards.
- Security Guidelines & Policies: Develop and optimize security and operational guidelines for service management.
- Security Integration: Align security with ITIL-based service management, ensuring compliance and security efficiency.
- Security Services Portfolio: Contribute to the development of new security services within Frequentis’ service offerings.
Operational and Tender Response Duties
- Tender & Customer Offer Support: Develop security concepts and contribute to technical responses in tenders.
- Security Approvals: Evaluate security impacts of architectural changes and mitigate risks.
- Incident Response: Actively participate in the Frequentis Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), ensuring effective threat response.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve security and service management processes.
Key Qualifications
Required:
- Technical degree in IT, cybersecurity, or telecommunications (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in critical IT and telecom operations, with knowledge of highly available systems.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS-2, CIS Benchmarks, and cloud security frameworks.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL-based processes, incident response, change management, service design, and operations).
- Experience in security engineering, cloud security, and compliance auditing.
Preferred:
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CASP+, Pentest+, or equivalent.
- Cloud security certifications (Azure AZ-500, SC-900, AWS Security – Specialty, or similar).
- Experience in managed service and/or as-a-service business models.
- ITIL® and ISO 27001 Foundation certification.
Skills and Abilities
- Security Leadership & Communication: Ability to engage with stakeholders, simplify complex security concepts, and align security goals with business objectives.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: A structured approach to security risk analysis, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Self-Driven & Collaborative: Comfortable working independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Multilingual & Global Mindset: Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) and willingness to travel internationally (~20%).
