Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). Key Tasks
  • Software development based on requirements/stories agreed with the customer
  • Analyze epics, stories and contribute to software design and architecture
  • Apply agreed software development processes
Key Qualifications
  • Experience with object-oriented Java programming (used together with Spring/Quarkus)
  • Experience with SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, JMS, AMQP
  • Experience with relational/non-relational databases
  • Experience with Messaging brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ/Apache ActiveMQ (Artemis))
  • Experience with JavaScript, React and Angular
  • Experience with development tools (e.g. JIRA, GitLab/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development roles
  • Very good English knowledge in writing and speaking

Nice to have:
  • Experience with Cloud Environments (AWS/Azure/OpenShift)
  • Experience with State machine pattern
  • Experience with data synchronization
