Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 30,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

We are looking for a System Engineer who will work within our team to maintain, improve and support the AIM (Aeronautical Information Management) Software from first integration to Go Live.

Our used technologies: WebLogic application server, Oracle database, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache, Scripting, Git, Confluence, Xymon, Jira, Ansible, VMware, Jenkins

Readiness to travel: approx. 15 % per year
Key Tasks
  • Maintenance, improvement, optimisation of existing systems
  • Setup of new IT systems 
  • Deployment of our AIM software
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis incl. performance monitoring
  • Developer support for problems, changes and improvements
  • Scripting: Automation of installation/maintenance processes using scripting
  • Customer support in technical questions (approx. 15% travelling required)
Key Qualifications
  • Completed technical education with focus on IT or telecommunications
  • Approx. 2 to 5 years experience in system engineering or system administration
  • Good network and IT infrastructure knowledge (Linux server, virtualization, monitoring)
  • Good command of English, ability to work in projects (able to meet milestones)
  • Motivation to learn more about technical topics and Frequentis products
