Telecommunication Systems Engineer (f/m/d) - for customer projects in France

Job Introduction
Frequentis AG with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 30.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. In this case we are searching for a french customer project in the are of public transport.

Key Tasks
  • You will implement our Frequentis solution in an operations and control center from technical specification to acceptance at the customer's site in France
  • Depending on the project, you collect the customer requirements and adapt the solution accordingly with your know-how
  • Automate installation and maintenance processes with scripting 
  • As a system engineer you advise customers and project team on technical issues
  • You are the one who is guiding the customer from project start until the site accpetance test in all technical matters
  • In some projects you will also be responsible for 3rd level support and support requests from the customer
Key Qualifications
  • Technical education with focus on telecommunications (HTL, FH, TU degree) 
  • Proven work experience in system engineering or similar roles in IT delivery projects or software development projects
  • Good VoIP knowledge preferred and IT infrastructure knowledge is a plus (Automatic Deployment und Scripting Skills, Linux server, virtualization, monitoring, CISCO components) 
  • Joy of travelling to our customers (depending on the area, between 20 and 40 % per year in international projects) 
  • French language skills, every other language is a plus
