Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. The product is a leading communication and collaboration platform that serves large public safety control rooms, aiming for a continuously growing set of functionalities to support the needs requested by our police, ambulance and fire brigade customers.
This position is all about testing a complex product in an automated-functional-end-to-end manner. The test automation engineer, in this position, will be part of an already existent Scrum team that works only on automated testing.
The technologies used are mainly Java and Groovy, relying on an in-house built test automation framework.

Key Tasks
  • Implement, maintain, execute and document automated test cases based on requirements. 
  • Interpret test results. Provide fixes, maintain test suite on each build release.
  • Investigate and document defects in the Jira tracking tool.
  • Retest defects after they are marked as resolved.
  • Create test report documents.
  • Configure and run automated tests in various test environments.
  • Propose code improvements for the tests. 
  • Design TCs, come up with test scenarios based on project requirements and business needs.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on automation testing experience, preferably using Java or Selenium.
  • Able to apply OOP concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS (it will be used to identify UI elements).
  • Good English knowledge, both written and verbally.
  • IP based communications knowhow (SIP/RTP) is an advantage.
