Job Introduction
The Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 1800 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries. In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team has currently 140+ colleagues and is growing.

You will test a highly reliable systems for professional applications used in safety-critical environments in the industry field.
Key Tasks
  • You design test cases based on user stories, requirements, etc.
  • You select and prepare test cases for automation
  • You develop automated test cases on all levels (integration tests, component tests, unit tests)
  • You evaluate, analyse and monitor the test runs
  • You develop test connections for the user interfaces, APIs and various protocols (messaging, streaming, etc.)
  • You support the further development of our CI/CD processes and our automation architecture
  • You contribute at the improvement of our test processes
  • You support the further development of our technology stack in the areas of CI/CD, DevSecOps, test automation, etc.
  • You understand the agile environment and work efficiently in a scrum team
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on automated testing experience 
  • Experience with Java, JBehave, Groovy
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience in the automation of complex test cases  
  • Structured approach from idea generation to successful implementation
  • Very good English knowledge in writing and speaking
  • ISTQB certification is an advantage
