Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 40,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. To support our expansion in the Middle Eastern Region we are currently establishing a new subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where all sales activities in the region will be centred. 

As Regional Sales Manager for the Public Safety market in Middle East you are responsible for the respective customer portfolio. With your understanding of the specifics of the blue light organizations and the local market requirements you will develop solutions for new and existing customers based on the Frequentis portfolio. With your sales expertise and your dynamic approach, you set the tone for the Public Safety sales team and business in the region. In this function, you report directly to the Managing Director of our local company, Frequentis Middle East in Abu Dhabi. Our Public Safety solutions leverage many years of experience focusing on mission critical communications and applications. Cross-industry expertise gained from supporting control centre communication sets the foundation for industry-leading communication solution for Public Safety organizations.
Key Tasks
  • You are responsible for the order intake by selling our Public Safety portfolio to customers in GCC and additional countries in north Africa 
  • You proactively coordinate all regional sales activities, your focus is on the acquisition of new projects 
  • You actively manage customer needs to fit the product & solution portfolio of Frequentis 
  • You work closely with the product & solution specialists of our Public Safety business unit in Vienna, Austria and provide feedback from the market 
  • You design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence 
  • You build and maintain client relationship 
  • You proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
Key Qualifications
  • You’re are familiar with the challenges and specifics of the Public Safety and blue light industry 
  • You are experienced in selling solutions to government authorities and/or to the Public Safety Sector 
  • You have an excellent commercial acumen and understand consultative selling 
  • You have a high degree of initiative and are used to working independently in a matrix organization 
  • You hold a university degree in communications engineering/information technology, business management or comparable and/or equivalent job experience 
  • You are business fluent in English, German skills are a plus and your willingness to travel is high (min. 30%), additionally you have an excellent command of Arabic.
