Senior Systems Engineer

Job Introduction
Frequentis USA designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes Frequentis technologies for FAA, NASA,and state and local governments. Frequentis USA is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland operating a local manufacturing plant serving its U.S. customers.
Key Tasks
  • Lead engineer responsible for proprietary telecommunications systems engineering & integration, software integration, system configurations, and security hardening
  • Analyze program specifications and clarify technical issues to generate system solution documentation based on existing product offering
  • Analyze technical project risks and produce mitigation processes and metrics
  • Prepares/advices on test methodologies to prove performance (e.g., timing, audio levels, network operation, latency, packet loss, load testing, etc.) of system solutions
  • Participates in factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, failure location and analysis, and remediation strategies
Key Qualifications
  • BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with IT and telecommunications software and hardware
  • 10-15 years' experience installing, integrating, deploying, and supporting integrated hardware and software solutions in the area of networking and communication systems
  • System engineering experience in integrating and maintaining telecommunications/telephony and radio communications systems and related technologies (Analog, TDM, VoIP, T1)
  • Applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S. Resident
