Job Introduction
Frequentis Group, with headquarters in Vienna, is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. In our team we develop a modern, IP-based voice and data switching system called iSecCOM, which is used for air traffic control and surveillance, for search and rescue operations, as well as for other safety-critical applications. In addition to the usual functionality, iSecCOM also covers special requirements such as voice and data encryption, Red/Black separation, as well as customer-specific adaptations and product-based special solutions.

Key Tasks
  • You will work on the creation of new software solutions for safety-critical applications in the field of air traffic control 
  • You will be involved in the development of high-quality software throughout the entire chain: from requirements analysis, design and implementation to testing at software and system level.
  • Together with other colleagues, you will integrate developed software into the overall system.
Key Qualifications
  • Masters degree in computer science (or related field)
  • Work experience as a C++ developer, preferably under Linux
  • Technical mindset, as well as the ability to coordinate work tasks with other colleagues and to lead them together to a successful conclusion.
  • Knowledge of VoIP technology (SIP, RTP) and system programming is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 42,592 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
