DevOps Engineer – Public Transport (all genders)

Control Center Solutions für Bahnbetreiber
Vienna FREQUENTIS AG From now on Full time
Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

Our solutions in the Public Transport sector are based on more than seventy years of experience with safety-critical communication and applications. With our strong positioning in operational communication as well as in disruption and crisis management, we also hold the largest market share in GSM-R dispatcher terminals; we have successfully delivered more than 10,000 units to customer control centers in over 25 countries. Railway companies around the world are moving away from decentralized operations and transitioning to consolidated control centers. Frequentis can help overcome these hurdles with its fixed-terminal system platform, migrate to the Future Railway Mobile Communication System, and enable unified communication across any digital radio network. Our new system platform follows the FRMCS target architecture and will replace the existing communication system in operations centers.
