Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Key Tasks
  • Support, further development and administration of central development tools (Jira, JAMA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jenkins) with a focus on continuous integration. 
  • Analysis and resolution of tool and plugin compatibility issues. 
  • Collaboration on the further development of CI/CD environments. 
  • Close cooperation with development and system engineering to optimise processes and tooling. 
  • Creation and optimisation of scripts (Python, Shell, Groovy) for process and workflow automation. 
  • Collaboration with the security team in the implementation of security guidelines to ensure smooth operation. 
  • Setup, optimisation and maintenance of back-office systems with a focus on availability, quality and user-friendliness. 
  • Patch management, upgrades and support for future system architectures. 
  • Ticket processing according to SLA.
Key Qualifications
  • Technical education (HTL/FH/university) in computer science, software engineering, software development or similar. 
  • At least 5 years of solid professional experience in the areas of software development, tooling, CI/CD. 
  • Practical experience in DevOps, especially with CI/CD, automation and internal tools. 
  • Experience in supporting Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, JAMA and other ALM tools. 
  • Experience with scripting (e.g. JAVA, Groovy, Bash, Python) 
  • Comprehensive understanding of development and deployment processes and ability to improve them technically. 
  • Good command of English 
  • Enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration and solution-oriented working methods.

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 46,200 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
