Development Project Manager (all genders) - part-time from 30h/week possible
- Drive the successful delivery of software product releases within agreed timelines, budgets and quality targets
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Requirements Engineering and Product Owners to turn business goals into product outcomes
- Coordinate multiple development teams and support them throughout the release lifecycle
- Lead and facilitate activities related to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance, including vulnerability management and risk analysis initiatives
- Continuously monitor product progress, performance indicators and release readiness
- Communicate project status, achievements and key metrics to internal stakeholders and management
- Drive continuous improvements within the Agile Release Train, including processes, collaboration and product increment delivery
- Support the evolution of product analytics and reporting capabilities to enable more data-driven decisions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, IT Security or a related technical discipline
- Solid understanding of modern software development environments (e.g. Java or Kotlin)
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or similar collaboration platforms
- Understanding of software dependency management, version control, and related tools (e.g. Git, Maven)
- Knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- A structured, self-driven working style combined with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, personalities, and teams
- Ability to break down complex topics, communicate them clearly, and drive them to completion
- Fluency in German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
- Several years of experience in software development, product ownership, or a similar technical role
- Knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems
- Interest in or exposure to software security topics, particularly vulnerability management and secure software development practices
- Familiarity with common web and software vulnerabilities as well as security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and OWASP SAMM
- Experience with REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), data modelling, or event-streaming technologies such as Kafka
