International Technical Sales Manager Defence (all genders)
- Manage and close sales opportunities with Frequentis regional sales through accurate forecasting, account and opportunity planning and opportunity management.
- Prepare and present answers to RFI, RFQ, RFP and PoC with collaboration of internal stakeholders such as regional sales, pre-sales, solution architect, bid management and product team.
- Develop and create strategies for developing and pursuing new sales opportunities in collaboration with the regional sales team.
- Act as the Capture Lead for complex or high value business opportunities. Have an ability to manage, influence and motivate internal stakeholders from Technical, Operational, Commercial and Legal disciplines as well as an ability to structure the capture from end to end.
- Understand business and technical needs of a customer, and map Frequentis technologies to those business needs required.
- Be responsible for market communication, including customer presentations and demonstrations, handling technical and commercial correspondence, as well as by participating at international defence trade fairs.
- Reach and exceed annual sales targets.
- University degree in telecommunications, communications engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or a comparable degree is desirable.
- Several years of international professional experience in the defence and security sector.
- A military background in the field of military air traffic control or ground-based air defence is an advantage.
- You have already acquired in-depth knowledge in the areas of proposal management and sales and feel at home in both the technical and commercial world.
- Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is desirable.
- You are willing to travel up to 30% of the time
