Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to support our team in the areas of technical writing and development of technical training courses. Following a period of several months of on-the-job training, and depending on individual development and skill set, we offer the opportunity to take on the additional role of technical trainer
Our products, which are used exclusively in safety-critical environments, consist of hardware and software developed in-house, as well as third-party components. This exciting role combines precise information processing with instructive skills, offering a blend of technology, communication and knowledge transfer.
Key Tasks
  • Creation of standards-compliant technical content (e.g. maintenance and user manuals) for our safety-critical products and solutions, serving as the foundation for high-quality training materials
  • Development and implementation of target-group-specific training documents (training plans, training manuals, presentations, assessments, assessment guides, and complementary digital learning content) based on the provided technical information
  • Ensuring consistency between and quality of documented information and delivered content with the aim of creating an integral understanding of our products and solutions
  • Close cooperation with development, system engineering, product support, and quality assurance departments to gather information and ensure the quality of technical content
  • Use of content management systems and supporting tools to create documentation and graphics
  • Conducting training courses for both Frequentis personnel and Frequentis customers in order to directly incorporate practical feedback into the documentation
  • Contribution to the design and continuous development of internal standards and processes for documentation and training in safety-critical environments
Key Qualifications
  • Degree in a technical field (e.g. IT administration, network administration, or information technology), an educational field with a technical focus, or technical communication
  • Professional experience in technical documentation and/or technical training is ideal
  • Familiarity with documentation tools; familiarity with requirements management and project management tools is advantageous
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and comprehensible manner to a target audience
  • Interest in creating technical content as well as in designing and implementing training measures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team, especially when collaborating with development, support and product management departments
  • Quality consciousness and a highly structured approach to work
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to actively help shape and improve processes
  • Great enthusiasm for knowledge transfer and direct interaction with users and customers
  • Native-level proficiency in German or English, as well as business fluency in the other language
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 51,157 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
