Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

As an external communications expert, you will have the opportunity to use your strategic and operational know-how to strengthen the public relations of Frequentis, with a focus on international visibility. You will report to the Head of Group Communications and become part of the comms team of 5 experts FOR A SAFER WORLD.
Key Tasks
  • Strategy work:  You are co-responsible for the further development and implementation of the external communication strategy and provide support for print, online and social media channels.
  • International PR: You will support the coordination of international press activities with our local Managing Directors and their teams, and plan, implement, and monitor these activities with local agencies.
  • New Channels: You will develop new communication channels (e.g., podcasts).
  • Crisis Communications: Together with the Head of Group Communications, you will develop crisis communication plans. You will support and back up our Head of Group Communications in case of a crisis.
  • High-level Projects: You will have the opportunity to support board projects and shape and implement an internal newsroom concept.
Key Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization with strong cross-functional and intercultural collaboration skills.
  • More than 10 years of experience in international public relations, ideally a mix of corporate and agency experience in a technology-oriented industry.
  • Crisis communication experience.
  • Experience in collaboration with international agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 56,605 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
