Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. In this position we are looking for a French speaking Commercial/Contract Manager with experience in complex programs and projects (ideally with governmental contracts/Projects) to be based in our headquarter in Vienna.

As a member of the project management team, the Contract Manager has the overall accountability for the contractual compliance, working closely with the Project Manager and the Project Team.

The Contract Manger represents the internal and external contact point for all contractual project matters and is responsible for managing all external and internal change requests and advising the Project Manager on related contractual rights and obligations during the project execution phase (appx. 2-4 years).

Key Tasks
  • Being the first point of contact in complex projects regarding managing and coordinating change requests and resulting offers
  • Analysing deviations and their effects regarding contractual and commercial consequences in the project and for the contract
  • Tracking the status and performance of contractual customer obligations
  • Identification of contractual risks and mitigation actions
  • Being a sparring partner at eye level for the project manager (e.g. in making strategic decisions) and the international project team (Technical Solution Manager, Sales, Engineering…) from multiple Frequentis locations
  • Participating in customer meetings (virtual and face-to-face)
  • Sharing your experience with the contract management colleagues to build up standards within FRQ Group

Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience (min. 5 – 10 years) with complex programs or projects, preferably in a technical sector
  • Commercial background and advanced knowhow in project management with additional focus on commercial and contractual aspects
  • Fluent French and English language skills, German skills are a plus
  • Already gained experience with French projects and French contract law is preferred
  • Ability to see the big picture in complex projects with solution oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to make decisions
  • Teamplayer with the flexibility to work in an intercultural virtual team (readiness to travel to customer meetings approx. 2-4 days per month)

Annual Gross Salary from
EUR 46072
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
