Head of Development (all genders)

- Lead the development and maintenance of the digital platform in alignment with product management goals and objectives
- Manage and develop a distributed team of architects, software developers, DevOps engineers and other digital professionals to ensure the platform is user-friendly, secure, of high quality in accordance with our safety critical market requirements and can be efficiently deployed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging digital technologies (e.g. CNCF) and trends to ensure the platform is built using the latest tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with other Frequentis departments to meet the needs of stakeholders and customers
- Responsible for managing budget and resources
- Technical education (Computer Science, Information Technology or related field)
- Proven track record of managing digital platform development and experience in managing and leading a team of digital professionals
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of digital tools and methodologies (Linux, Java, Agile, Cloud Technologies, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Motivation to work in an international, dynamic environment
