Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.
Key Tasks
  • You are responsible for the successful rollout, administration, operation and support of an IT system for the processing of classified information
  • You administer the network, firewall & VPN access 
  • You attend up to 150 users in this area 
  • You are responsible for server administration and backup 
  • An important task is the technical security of the system through audits, malware pattern update & patch management 
  • You are part of a worldwide IT department which is responsible for the operation of all internal IT systems
Key Qualifications
  • Completed technical education (university, FH, HTL) with focus on IT or network technology 
  • Several years of experience in the support of heterogeneous IT infrastructure systems for the processing of classified information including user support 
  • Broad technical knowledge in the area of VMWare, Windows Server, Windows 10, CISCO network components, WSUS/WDS 
  • Prerequisite for working in this field is a willingness to a security clearance, an already valid security clearance is an advantage 
  • Good English skills 
  • You are characterised by a high problem-solving competence and good communication skills 
  • You are a team player and can handle classified information

This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5-hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
