Our Air Traffic Management Tower Team develops cutting-edge software for air traffic control, with a particular focus on video surveillance within towers. We emphasize individuality, integration, reliability, and user-friendliness. Remote Tower technology enables the full remote monitoring of an airport control tower from a central location. To ensure the highest levels of reliability, we combine our leading network technology products to provide optimal connectivity for critical operations. Your Job, Your Mission:

Are you an IT Engineer (all genders) with a passion for technology and aviation? Then this is your chance to support international clients in the field of air traffic control!

What You Can Expect:

You’ll work on IT systems deployed directly in airport towers – gaining exclusive insights into the workflows of air traffic controllers.
You’ll be traveling around the globe: Your assignments will take you to all continents to install, integrate, and commission systems at customer sites.
You’ll optimize and maintain safety-critical IT and automation solutions that ensure smooth air traffic operations.
Working in international teams, you’ll help ensure our technologies meet the highest industry standards.
Your future perspective: Once you gain project experience, you’ll take on a technical leadership role, guiding a team of up to 5 IT experts and driving innovation forward.

Key Tasks

From specification to acceptance: You ensure our systems are flawlessly integrated, configured, and approved at the customer site.
IT & networks in safety-critical environments: You get standard IT and network components up and running – reliably, securely, and efficiently.
Technical feasibility & system architecture: You don’t just follow along – you actively optimize for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordination & communication: As a key interface, you align with customers, internal teams, and external partners across areas such as documentation, testing, and software development.
Acceptance testing & quality assurance: You conduct tests with various stakeholders to ensure everything works perfectly.
Option to become a Leading Expert: Looking for more responsibility? Take on a technical leadership role, lead an engineering team, and shape resource planning, development, and recruitment!

Key Qualifications

You're an experienced IT professional – whether as a System Engineer or System Administrator – with a strong technical background? Whether through formal education, a degree, or a non-traditional path, what truly matters is your passion for IT!
Linux is your thing – and networks are more than just cables to you. You're confident working with protocols like UDP, TCP, and Multicast.
Excited by modern IT infrastructure? Perfect! You're familiar with current COTS hardware – from servers and clients to displays and firewalls – and you’ve already gained experience with datacenter or cloud technologies. Now you’re ready to take that knowledge even further.
International projects are exactly your thing? With your excellent English skills, you're fully equipped for global business travel.
Aviation enthusiast? If airports, airplanes, and air traffic management have always fascinated you, then you’ll feel right at home here!

Salary

Compensation for this position includes:A collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 45,207 gross per year (based on a 38.5-hour work week) plus a market-based overpayment depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
