Job Introduction

Frequentis AG with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide 500 customers with 25.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

Key Tasks

Analysis of the existing configuration workflow and application used in our air traffic management solutions, including interviews of key users
From the analysis, identification of key areas of improvements and associated options to address these Perform cost benefits analysis and prioritisation of options and present the results
Based on selected option, implement high-fidelity prototypes
Organization of internal evaluation in order to argument the choices that have been taken, to collect feedback and improvement proposals
What you will learn:

End to end comprehensive and methodological engineering approach: from problem analysis and breakdown to solution design, implementation and verification
Programming experience in an agile environment
System and user interface programming
Air traffic management concepts and products
System safety

Key Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a master program with focus on computer system
Experience in data modelling, UML and XML
Programming experience in Java, Javafx.
Programming experience in database system
Code and design analytic skills
Proficient English in spoken and written communication
Knowledge in aerospace systems/air traffic management is an advantage
