Junior Integration Engineer Hardware/Software (all genders)
- You test and integrate Frequentis embedded hardware and software, as well as third-party components.
- You act as the interface between project management, hardware development, and software development, helping to ensure that developments are completed on time and within budget.
- You support troubleshooting and root cause analysis by reviewing system setups, circuit diagrams, and occasionally source code, developing small test programs to reproduce issues, or performing measurements with oscilloscopes to guide developers toward effective solutions.
- You design and execute test cases to verify the functionality, compatibility, and reliability of hardware and software components.
- You set up and configure test environments to verify that system requirements can be met and validated.
- You document your solutions, findings, and technical expertise using tools such as Jira, Jama, and Confluence.
- You contribute to reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve quality, maintainability, and test coverage.
- You are part of the Hardware Team and support colleagues across different teams with your technical know-how and expertise.
- You have successfully completed a degree (HTL, Bachelor's or Master's) in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Ideally, you bring 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in one or more of these areas.
- You combine strong technical skills with analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset to ensure that hardware and software components are integrated correctly and work seamlessly together.
- You have a keen interest in scripting languages, embedded hardware, and embedded software with a focus on Linux. In addition, you enjoy hands-on work with hardware, including reading circuit diagrams, soldering, and performing measurements.
- You enjoy working with people from all over the world and are fluent in both German and English.
- You are able to understand, review, create, and maintain technical documentation in both German and English.
