The highly qualified team of the Public Transport business unit manages the development of competencies and markets. With solutions in the field of GSM-R (GSM-Railways) the business unit has established itself excellently and is operating worldwide. Due to the excellent business situation we are looking for additional support! As a Junior Presales Engineer (f/m/d) you are the "turntable" between customer, sales and product. With your know-how, you make a significant contribution to the success of the company during the offer phase.
Key Tasks
  • You will evaluate customer needs and advise our future customers regarding the requirements for the technical solution.
  • These needs are then translated by you into binding offers based on our Frequentis products. 
  • You are giving consideration to technical feasibility on economically acceptable terms.
  • The offered price of the solution is mainly based on your input. 
  • Customer workshops, meetings and presentations will be held by you on site at the customer or at our HQ in Vienna. 
  • One of your success factors will be your in-house network within Frequentis, e.g. with sales, offer management, product departments, etc. 
  • At exhibitions, you support our sales colleagues with your technical expertise on site.
Key Qualifications
  • Completed higher technical education with focus on IT/network technology/telecommunications 
  • First experience in a similar role e.g. presales, technical sales or solution consulting 
  • Already acquired know-how in IT solutions and IP technology preferred 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
