Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 40,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. 

The SIS (Software and Infrastructure Solutions) department develops high-availability IT solutions for use in global customer projects. The scope covers all IT infrastructure areas such as server/client HW, network, storage, virtualization, operating system, third-party applications and security.
Key Tasks
  • As .NET Software Architect you will work closely with our international internal and external development units 
  • Creating system architecture and system designs together with the development teams 
  • Responsibility for the technical feasibility of the architecture and designs, as well as documenting them 
  • Analyzing functional and defining non-functional requirements 
  • Preparation of cost estimates for technical concepts 
  • Participation in standardization activities as well as in the selection of technologies (input for roadmaps) 
  • Leading the transition of a service-oriented (.Net) product to a platform-independent, container-based (.net core) product
Key Qualifications
  • Technical education (HTL diploma or Bachelor's/Master's degree) in the field of computer science, communications engineering or electrical engineering 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a system architect or lead developer in the development of complex solutions 
  • Knowledge of current architectures and "state of the art" technologies/frameworks/tools 
  • Experience with Microsoft.NET, C# 
  • Experience in audio/video processing or specific network protocols (RTSP, SIP, RTP,...) is an advantage 
  • Also a nice to have: experience with RabbitMQ, Consul, Microsoft SQL Server as well as No-SQL databases, containers and/or Kubernetes 
  • Very good English and German language skills 
  • Analytical and communicative teamplayer with interest in security relevant & highly available systems 
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% per month

Salary
Annual Gross Salary from
EUR 41575
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
